Delivery
Royal Mail Recorded
Small items are usually sent via Royal Mail Recorded delivery. Consignments are usually delivered next working day but this service is not guaranteed. Someone will need to sign for the item on delivery. If noone is available to sign for it a card will be left and it will be taken back to your local sorting office. You can then either arrange to have it redelivered or collect it yourself from the sorting office.
Royal Mail Special Delivery
Where you have selected next day delivery, most items will be sent via Royal Mail Special Delivery. This is a guaranteed next day service and you should receive the item by 1pm the next working day. Someone will need to sign for the item on delivery. If noone is available to sign for it a card will be left and it will be taken back to your local sorting office. You can then either arrange to have it redelivered or collect it yourself from the sorting office.
Royal Mail Airmail/Signed-For
Most overseas consignments will be sent via Royal Mail Airmail or Royal Mail Signed For International. Items are usually delivered within three days to Western Europe, four days to Eastern Europe and five days for the rest of the world. Item sent via the Signed For service will need to be signed for. If no-one is available to sign for the item then it will be retained by the postal administration for a subsequent delivery attempt or collection by the addressee.
DHL
Large items will be sent via DHL. Most items are usually delivered next working day, however can take upto 48 hours. Items will need to be signed for on delivery. If noone is available to sign for it a card will be left and it will be taken back to your local DHL sorting office. You can then either arrange to have it redelivered or collect it yourself. Please check all consignments for signs of damage and make a note of it on the signature panel before signing.
